  1. After cataloging individual plays through Hamlet, catalogers are starting with the collected editions
  2. Catalogers retrieve books in groups, filling out a single call slip for all contiguous volumes, and move them to a personal shelf or truck.
  3. Once a batch of items (about 6-12) has been cataloged, the cataloger carefully proofreads the saved records in Connexion; when satisfied that they are correct and complete, the cataloger notifies the other cataloger and DJL via email. [Need to review]
    • In Connexion, the cataloger also changes the drop-down option in My Status (Alt-Shift-S) to “In Review.”
  4. Records will be spot-checked by the other reviewer or DJL or both, with comments for each different record on a separate email, sent to all.
  5. Once the collected editions have been completed, the catalogers will return to the individual plays, starting with Julius Caesar.
  6. Once the ShCol shelves have been completed, several other areas and sources of information will be checked
    • spreadsheet for other copies of editions in the ShCol shelves (see superseded general workflow)
    • art shelflist for ART Vols a-b and e-f
    • Ex.ills. in the Art Vault (any found need to be reclassified as "cage" or as ART Vol. a or b, depending on content)
    • promptbooks in the PROMPT collection
    • Shakespeare editions on Deck B
    • official file
    • public catalog
